Other Volunteer Opportunities 2026-27

The PTA Volunteer Program is one of the best ways that parents can support the students and staff at our school.

Please review the brief descriptions of each volunteer area and indicate your preliminary interests. Your contact information will then be forwarded to the PTA board member or committee chair that is pulling together that activity and they will be in touch with you. We understand that volunteering takes time, effort and energy and the PTA has designed a give back program as a thank you. If you chair a committee or volunteer at multiple events, you may qualify for Chair Benefits. Please click here for more details.

 Together We Can.

Volunteer Opportunities for Student Related Events

We're thrilled to offer HMS social events, providing a safe and engaging space where all our students can socialize and connect. Some of these events are school-initiated and take place during the school day, requiring a valid volunteer form. Others are PTA events that take place off campus and after school. These events are designed to help students develop healthy habits and learn how to interact positively and responsibly in social settings. We truly believe these opportunities are essential for our students to thrive, develop personally, and grow into responsible members of both the Hillcrest and Trumbull communities.
